How We Verify Figures

Every fee rate, APY, volume figure, and trading statistic on HyperliquidGuide.com is sourced from primary data and manually re-checked on a defined cadence. This page explains how.

Primary Sources

For any claim involving a specific number — fees, leverage limits, staking tiers, volume, TVL, open interest — we cite from primary sources first and secondary aggregators second. Specifically:

  • Hyperliquid official documentation (hyperliquid.gitbook.io/hyperliquid-docs) — the authoritative source for fee schedules, staking tiers, margin requirements, and protocol behavior.
  • Hyperliquid API (api.hyperliquid.xyz) — real-time volume, funding rates, open interest, and market data used by live-stat components throughout the site.
  • On-chain data via Dune Analytics and DefiLlama — historical volume, TVL, and wallet activity cross-referenced against the API data.
  • Competitor platform documentation (dydx.trade/docs, gmx.io/docs, binance.com/en/fee) for comparison fee figures. We never rely on secondhand summaries for comparison claims.
  • Protocol dashboards for ecosystem projects (Felix, HyperLend, Kinetiq, etc.) for APY and TVL figures specific to those protocols.

Review Cadence

Every guide carries a Last Updated date in the byline. Additionally, pages covering time-sensitive figures (fees, VIP tiers, staking rewards, volume comparisons) carry a Last Verified date indicating the most recent manual data check — this is usually more recent than the content-edit date.

High-priority guides (fees, deposit, withdraw, US availability, security) are re-checked at least monthly. Comparison and ecosystem articles are re-checked quarterly or when a material change is detected. Live data widgets (price tickers, funding rates, volume stats) pull fresh data on every page load.

Limitations

Rates and figures in crypto markets change. The Last Verified date represents the last time a human manually confirmed the figure against a primary source. Between verification dates, figures may drift — particularly APYs, funding rates, and volume comparisons. When accuracy matters for a decision you're about to make, always cross-check against the primary source linked from the article.

Reporting Outdated Figures

If you spot a figure on this site that looks out of date or wrong, please report it. The fastest path is a direct message to @Concept211 on X or an email via the About page. Include the URL, the figure, and the source you're comparing against — we re-verify and update within 48 hours on average.

Editorial Independence and Disclosure

HyperliquidGuide.com earns revenue from referral links (see the About page for full disclosure). This does not influence which figures we publish, how we rank exchanges, or which platforms we recommend. Fee comparisons are sourced from each platform's own published schedule. When a competitor's rate is lower, we say so — we'd rather be accurate than favorable.
